Have you spent time with your child today?

Have you spent time with your child today?

Did you take the time to sit and play?

Have you built a tower, read a book?

Curled up and snuggled in a nook?

Did you go for a walk, pick some flowers?

Twirl and splash in the April showers?

Have you shared a giggle a laugh, a kiss?

These are things that you dont want to miss

Have you taught the Qur'an, read the Seerah?

Did you instill in your child the fear of Allah?

Do you wish for more time and wonder:Why?

It went so quickly -in the blink of an eye.

Do you realize what you have lost

And in the end what will be the cost?

Allah will judge for what you have earned For to him you will be returned
