A GOOD MUSLIM MOTHER

When she is pregnant,
A Muslim woman is different.

She reads the Qur'an often,
“Grant me a salih child; Amen.”

She prays to Allah, our Lord;
And waits for a good reward.

When the baby is born,
It is like a beautiful morn.

She forgets all her pain,
And gives him a good name.

After the Adhan in his ear,
The baby’s life is in gear.

A nurse, a teacher and a guide,
She is always by his side.

She teaches him the Qur'an,
And fills his heart with Iman.

She sings, she reads him stories,
Of the prophets and the sahabis.

A good Muslim mother is blessed;
Because the Holy Prophet has said,

“Paradise is under her feet.”
Her du'a makes our life so sweet.
