I hope you are in the bestest of health and imaan (faith).
Are you working or looking for work? Are you at school/college? If your answer to these questions is yes, then answer this...WHY?
Most of you will probably say becuase u want to make a living, you want to be able to support yourself, you want to achieve something, be independant and not have to depend on others for financial support etc.
Am i right?
Well, day in day out, Palestinians and many more of our brothers and sisters are having to rely on relief donations to survive, they don't have much hope for their future. They want to be able to support themselves and their families like we do. They need to be educated so they can make a living, for them to move on...
A few weeks ago, the enitire library of the islamic university of Gaza in palestine had been burnt out by an arson attack. All the books, journals, computer and other IT qeuipments had been destroyed.
The effect of this on the university and the comminuity is devastating as over 20,000 students have been left with no library facilities whatsoever. These students are now facing real diffictulties to complete their education and training which will delay their gradiation and hinders their employments to support thenselves and their families.
They need your help...
All you have to do is kindly donate some books, journals, elecrtonic books (CDs DVDs) which are desperately needed in the following areas:
Medicine and related disciplines
Nursing
Agricultural and food production
Science (Chemisrty, Biology, Physics and related subjects)
Mathematics, statistics and related disciplines
IT and related subjects
Engineering-all disciplines
Please, ask friends and family if they have any old uni books which they could donate and let me know asap Inshallah. Email me with your details and what books you are able to give Inshallah.
Remember this will also act as a sadakah jaariyah Inshallah. All your efforts will be rewarded imensly and you don't need to do much! You will be rewarded for supplying knowledge, for helping them have their own job, for being able to support their families...the food they get form the money to feed them etc and it goes on! Subhanallah!
