Do you allow your child uncontrolled access to the Internet when you know the large number of pornographic sites available?
Do you buy a cell phone for your child and then happily pay the monthly bill when you know that your child is not using the cell phone for emergencies only?
Do you allow your child to have a TV is his own bedroom when you know that he is not watching educational content?
Do you lie, insult, swear and use abusive language in front of your child and hope that he does not learn it from you?
Do you expect the Madrasah and school to discipline your child when you know that this is in fact your responsibility?
Do you take your entire family to the movies and enthusiastically encourage them to admire the corrupt culture of the West?
Do you purchase such computer games for your child that are morally and socially destructive?
Do you allow your child to be dumped at the creche day after day without any valid reason when you know that your child is crying for a mother to dry up those tears?
Do you allow the non-Muslim maid to feed and bath your child when you know that she does not care about true Islamic cleanliness?
Do you pay for the clothing purchased by your child when you know that these will be worn to night clubs, discos, movie houses and other haraam social functions?
Do you dish out large sums of money to your child to show how much of artificial love you can show?
Do you allow your child to grow up in a fantasy world where your money and power can sort out any difficulty that the child may end up in?
Do you earn haraam sustenance and feed you family with this when you know that piety cannot be nurtured from haraam?
Do you arrogantly tell the Molana and other concerned community members to mind their own business when they kindly inform you that your child is doing wrong?
Do you spend more and more time in making money and on business trips while your child tries to fill your space by befriending drug-peddlers, alcoholics, gangsters and evil friends?
Do you neglect the Islamic education of your child thinking that Madrasah is not as important as school?
O parent, if you have answered yes to some or all of these questions then why blame your child when he goes astray? Should you not rather blame yourself?
